A Celebration of Plums

Since I grew up in what used to be known as the “Prune Capital of the World”,  I felt a special connection with today’s festival, “The Asakusa Plum Blossom Festival” or something to that effect. The weekend in Sumida Park was a celebration of the first plum tree blossoms.
